Fr. Rueger passed away on April 6th at the age of 89. He will be remembered by the over 20,000 teen he confirmed. He was ordained a priest on Jan. 6, 1958 by Bishop John J. Wright in St. Paul Cathedral and was a true champion of Catholic Education. In June 1965 he was named the first headmaster of Marian Central Catholic High School, Worcester. On August 1, 1978, he was appointed Diocesan Superintendent of Catholic Schools. God Bless you!

St. Anna 7/8th Grade Basketball Team won the New England Regional CYO Tournament beating Immaculate Conception - Arch Diocese of Boston 49-38. This is the first time St. Anna School has won the tournament. Congratulations!
Sr. Jeanne’s Fourth Grade class was excited to receive a visit from Emmanuel Communications’ President, Cindy Dorsey who visited Fourth Grade student, Brett McCarthy who was chosen as a Weekly Winner in 1230AM, 970AM, and 101.1FM Emmanuel Radio’s 2019 Catholic Schools Essay Contest. The Diocese of Worcester announced today that Linda Anderson has been appointed as the Principal of St. Bernard’s Central Catholic High School in Fitchburg. The appointment was made by Most Rev. Robert J. McManus, Bishop of Worcester upon the recommendation of Dr. David Perda, Superintendent of Catholic Schools and Michael J. Clark, Associate Superintendent of Secondary Schools.
